Not too sure if any of you encounter this problem before. Just some days ago, my fren bought a handbag from a flea market nearby my house. She was really excited as she got this bag at only $ 10... SO CHEAP! only one thing that makes her sad as her bag has an awful odor..... A smell that make us feel sick.
We have no idea on how to remove it... and there i think of a helpful lady in Replicasi.com, and i quickly wrote an email to her. This is the idea she has given to me:-
"We can lessen the smell by putting the item in a cardboard box with printless newspaper on the bottom and a container of one of the following, activated charcoal, borax, carpet fresh, baking soda or vinegar. Be careful with the vinegar because if it spills it will stain the leather. But, use a box with a lid, check the scent factor every few days, change out whatever you put in the container once a week until you don't smell the odor any longer. Depending on how much it smells, the container will absorb the scent in as little as a week and as long as a month. "
My fren is going to try this tonite... hopefully it works after few days.... :P Thanks Eva!
*happy*
